Everything Eckhart: Eckhart confesses the real reason he wanted to be in Love Happens: "As an actor I really got to play all parts. It's a love story. It's about grief and healing. It's a great actor's exercise. Plus, OK, I got to kiss Jennifer Aniston. That's really what it's all about. Who's playing the girl?" So is Eckhart the advice-giver in his circle of friends? Not so much, he says. "I like to empower the person to come up with the solution themselves. Everybody knows the answer to the problem, but really it's just listening so that they can talk themselves into the solution and hear it and have that experience. I really try to do that. So I don't try to give advice too much."

Aniston revealed one of the main reasons she agreed to Love Happens was to be able to work with Aaron Eckhart. "I'm such a fan of his,' admitted Aniston. "He has the driest sense of humor. He's so entertaining. He's so into philosophy and psychology, which I love. We can talk for hours. He's a great photographer. He's just interesting. And he's, really, I mean I think he's so absolutely beautiful in this movie. He's just beautiful and funny. He's just a really entertaining and enjoyable person to spend time with."
But unlike every other male she works opposite, there were never any rumors of her dating Eckhart. So, how did she and Eckhart manage to escape the rumormongers? "I know. It's so funny. Someone reminded us that when we were first meeting for lunch, meeting with the director, they took a picture of us in the restaurant and said, 'What's happening, something must be happening? They're having lunch, my God…' But then, yeah, they figured out that we were doing a movie together," recalled Aniston. "I don't know what that is."

The premiere for Love Happens will be on Tuesday, September 15 at the Mann's Village Theatre, according to the press release.

I didn't realise this until I was prepping for doing an update for the site but a year ago from today, Meet Eckhart graced its presence online! I cannot believe it has been a year since the site opened so I just want to say a big thank you to all the visitors! Thanks so much for supporting the site and being such dedicated fans to Aaron :-) It has a pleasure running this site so far and here's to many more!
Here's some interesting news, Aaron is a producer on his brother Jim's feature film titled To Be Friends. Even their parents Jim Sr. and Mary are helping out with the film! I’m starting work on a major new project. I’m composing the score to a new feature film, named To Be Friends.
The movie is written and directed by Jim Eckhart, and the Executive Producer is his brother, Aaron Eckhart. Mom and Dad Eckhart are lending a helping hand, and there’s a full crew who aren’t related, including producers Jason Mandl, Jill Hesseltine and Rick Sawyer.
The movie stars Joelle Carter and Todd Stashwick. It’s being shot throughout April 09. I’ll be composing most of the music once the picture is locked, so I expect to be focused on this project in June 09.
We’re in pre-production right now, I’ll let you know how it’s going. As well as composing the film score, I’ll be composing music for the actors to mime to, and coaching them on how to pretend to play violin and cello.
A new clip from Love Happens has turned up titled Later Eloise (source: AceShowbiz) where Eloise pretends she's deaf to not talk to Burke. (How dare she :P!):
