Aaron Eckhart, what a babe, huh? Well, The Dark Knight’s White Knight is just that in real life, so it seems. We asked the chiseled actor what it was like working with gossip girl Jennifer Aniston in their new movie, Traveling, which A.E. himself calls “a total chick flick.” Like Aniston would act (or get cast) in anything else, duh.

Says Eck-hon: “It was wonderful; she was awesome to work with. Good friend, sweet girl, total pro. She has just a heart of gold, and I totally enjoyed the experience.”

Aaron attended the GQ Men of the Year party at the Chateau Marmont last night and I have added photos from the event in the gallery. Also speaking of GQ, he is in the December 2008 issue of the magazine, for their GQ Men of the Year, as he was picked for their 'Villain' that blew their mind in 2008. I've added scans (thanks to Joyce!) and a picture from the magazine in the gallery.

Aaron Eckhart is attached to star in "Battle: Los Angeles," a sci-fi actioner that Jonathan Liebesman is directing for Columbia. Neal Moritz and his Original Film are producing.

The deal puts the actor front and center on an action movie for the first time. Eckhart had made his name working on less mainstream films, among others starring in "In the Company of Men" and "Thank You for Smoking." He had one of his biggest roles to date in the summer, playing Harvey Dent/Two-Face in "The Dark Knight," the blockbuster that has grossed more than $997 million worldwide.

The story, written by Chris Bertolini, revolves around a Marine platoon's encounter in the battle on the streets of Los Angeles against an alien invasion. Eckhart will play the platoon leader in the film, which has yet to set a start date.

The Guardian posted a clip from The Dark Knight DVD where Aaron and Chris Nolan talk about Harvey Dent, Three exclusive clips from The Dark Knight DVD.

As I mentioned in the earlier updates, Towelhead will be released on DVD on December 30, 2008. JoBlo and DVD Active has just posted the cover art and info on the DVD. Not the same cover as the poster but still awesome and a community discussion with director Alan Ball, Summer Bishil and Peter Macdissi with author Alicia Erian. What happened to the deleted scenes, that included Mr. Vuoso, Alan said would be on the DVD? :-(
